I recently downloaded spanning sync (latest version as of this post). I've had a situation where it has deleted information from my address book (Mac OS X) and replaced information from google to it, without my apparent express consent.
at one point Spanning sync asked me if It was ok for it to remove contacts from my Gmail account, I agreed. and told it not to notify me in the future about this. but later it also started deleting contacts from my computer...! I use my computer as my "actual" copy of address book, so I'd like everything to look as it does on my computer, I didn't expect spanning sync to reflect the way my gmail account was. I have lost about 200 contacts from my address book in Mac OS X and a lot of additional contact information inside the contacts i still have, such as Address details, and some notes. another funny behavior I have noticed is that at the end of names of contacts I have on my iPhone appear funny "square" as if its some kind of hidden character which only appears on the iphone, is this something any other users have experienced? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Spanning Sync" group.
