Just got the G1 for 2 daysIt works great with the Google. But only problem I got is sync calendar from iCal to Google calendar. I don't think G1 caused any problems to it. Because G1 will show whatever on the google calendar.
First sync from iCal to GC and address book to contract. It took me about 12 hours + 10 hours. I don't know why it took that long, I got 15M/2M high speed internet at home. >From iCal to Google Calendar. Some future events won't show in GC. I have to go into iCal, re-edit the un-sync events ( just open & save ) it will go to GC right away. And all events which synced from iCal-2-GC have been added a 30 min reminder into it. Contact is easy. I just backup the google contact, and let SS cleanup for "addressbook" to overwrite it. and move all the contact to Mobile Contact.
