Hi Mike, That's exactly how it works. It's pretty simple to setup and you shouldn't have any problems using both services at the same time. Simply setup MobileMe how you'd prefer then use Spanning Sync and configure it to sync with your Google account. Keep in mind the first Spanning Sync sync will take a little bit of time since it has to sync all your calendar/contact data during this initial sync. If you have a lot of calendar/contact data you're syncing, this can take hours to complete. Once the initial sync is complete, all subsequent syncs will be much faster (a few seconds).
