Dig this: So I opened console.app and went to system.log. Before I did the test event in Google, I saw that there was this error:
The database at ~/Library/Calendars/Calendar Cache is corrupted I decided to poke around at that first... lo and behold, this is an error that sometimes occurs when upgrading OS X. Deleting the file and restarting iCal forces it to go through a process of "upgrading calendars," and at the end, everything was back. Hurray! (Reference: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1539035&start=0&tstart=0 ) Thus it wasn't a spanning sync issue at all, but figured I'd report back in case others landed here in their research. Thanks for your help and pointing me in the right direction. cheers dz On Jun 13, 8:49 pm, Larry Hendricks <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi dz, > > When I've seen this recently it's been because of the iCal bug > described here: > > http://groups.google.com/group/spanningsync/msg/1d9284ae99462f70 > > One way to verify this is to open Console.app and monitor your > system.log.
