[Forwarding from Balviar Notay, via the JISC-Repositories list. --Peter Suber.]
Dear All JISC has issued a Call for projects to improve existing repository services by implementing good practice from other institutions. http://www.jisc.ac.uk/fundingopportunities/funding_calls/2010/10/grant1510.aspx (Repository: take-up and embedding strand) Please could I ask for your help in suggesting tools, applications, services and good practice that institutions could implement/reuse - which were not mentioned in the briefing paper. http://inf11briefingoct2010.jiscpress.org/ PIRUS2 tools are also worth looking at to support monitoring usage statistics. http://www.cranfieldlibrary.cranfield.ac.uk/pirus2/tiki-index.php I know there is only just over two weeks to go before the submission date, but I think it's still worth knowing about other tools, applications, good practice and services for reuse which might be applicable to this Call. Kind Regards Balviar Notay JISC Programme Manager Digital Infrastructure Team
