I have on my desk a Sparc 20 (actually a clone) with a currently unused
4Gb disk, so I'm considering installing Linux there. The box's primary
function is as an Oracle/Apache machine and, in the absence of
Oracle/Linux/Sparc, I thought I'd investigate running it under Solaris
emulation.
How much Solaris 2.[56] emulation is available and/or complete under, say,
2.2.1+Dave\'s-big-sparc-patch, and how stable is it?
With the right binaries/libraries in the right places, would I have too
many problems getting Oracle going, and would it stay up once there?
