What's the current status of sun4 support in the latest kernels? 4/260s
anywhere close to booting? Need testers? :-) I've got a pair of them here I
just acquired, and if SLinux will run on them, I'd love to try it. Haven't
done a full check on them yet, but they've both got at least 16MB, and one has
two third-party memory boards in them with 64 30-pin slots (16 full on each
with 1MB SIMMs). I have a Linux/x86 box already setup for TFTP booting Suns,
so that's not a problem if disk support isn't there yet. Any ideas if it
might work/won't work/will probably work?

On another slightly different topic, anyone ever seen one of the IPC VME
(501-1214) boards? I did a web search and turned up absolutely nothing about
it. It's got a 286 and 287 CPU on it, along with parallel and floppy ports.
Is this an early predecessor to the SunPC and SunPCi boards? Any clue where
to hunt down software for this beast? (For the IPC, I have SunOS 4.1.4 for
the 260s).
