Hi, I the booting process I see the message "Power off control detected". It is generated from arch/sparc/kernel/auxio.c where, without tracing through the code, it seems to allocate an io address with access to the prom power off node. Does this mean that it is possible to get the machine to power off, rather than simply returning to the prom prompt? ala ATX systems for x86.. If this is possible but there is not userspace program to take advantage of the fact then would it really be as simple as a couple of lines of code? Paul
