As of last night I'm using my SS4 as my print server with a 2.3 kernel and
the newest parport stuff. After another developer confirms to me that it
works for him, and the tasks.h->threads.h conversion is done for sparc32,
it will just work in new 2.3 kernels; Right now I'm using current parport
stuff with an old (2.3.5) kernel.
Continued use of the pc which is my dialup host for printing was causing
dangers to my sanity.
