Well, to work around the CDROM install, I've downloaded the latest ramdisk.img
and used 2 new floppies to create my boot disks.  Strangely, I have to 
specify 'install-2.9' at the SILO prompt to get the install to work.

I could not find documentation on the different SILO options.  How does
'install-2.9' differ from 'install'.
