My Configuration:
Sparc Classic X
Redhat Linux 6.0 Kernel 2.2
Hello,
I got a number of used Sparc Classic X and I want to connect SCSI disks to
them. These systems have an external SCSI connector (50 pins HD). If I
compile the SCSI support in the kernel the system is not booting. If I do
not include SCSI support and leave all the other settings the same the
system is booting fine from tftp and running very well including X11.
If SCSI support is included in the kernel (not as a module but directly)
the error messages is:
esp0: IRQ 0 SCSI ID7 Clock 40 MHz... Can not handle kernel paging at
virtual address fd015000
Can anyone point me to a solution?
Thank You in advance!!
Wolfgang
