I saw somebody offering a Sun 690MP, or looking for the right price,
in comp.sys.sun.hardware (message-id <80eg1q$jeq$[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
for those who are interested).
I'm relatively new to sparcs in general, so before I make any offers
I'd like to hear any opinions and bits of info on these systems.
Configuration info from the usenet article as follows:
4x CPU, 64Mb RAM
7x 1,3Gb IPI, 1x 1.3Gb IPI en 1x 1.7Gb SCSI disks
SunOS 4.1.2
Would this box be vaguely useful in a home/small office environment?
