Hi all,
Some months ago i asked why it was not possible to compile recent
development kernels on sun4M machine, and was told that only 64bitters
were able to compile, but that David was working on it.
Yesterday a read that Linus warned that a complete code-freeze for the
next major release was at hand, so doen anyone know the status? Last
time i tried was on a 2.3.33, which still failed to compile.
If the development changes will be put also into 2.4, i fear that people
with an "old sun" will miss the boat.
(ps NO, i have not been able to check 2.3.35 yet)
