Hi guys,

I'm fairly new to sparc linux, but I'm using Linux on intel and ARM so I'm
not entirely a newbee..

Now the question ,I'm in the process of installing redhat 6.1 on an SS10
with an hypersparc cpu upgradre 224 Mb ram, 1G disk.

I'm doing all the configuration and partionning stuff and after that comes
the time to format this disk..... and believe me my friend it is
lllllllooooooooonnnnnnggggggg, I mean after and hour or so doing Alt-F5 to
go to the status of mke2fs the result is 420/7202

ehhhh... is it normal, the disk is recognized by Linux without problem is
is on id 3 SEAGATE ST11200N SUN1.5 Rev 0000 Direct access ANSI SCSI rev 2

Any comments deeply appreciated... :)

Thanks
