Dear Heath,

I always thought digital comes from lat. "digitus" - the finger.
So when counting digitally you do it with your fingers and you abandon any idea of a quality of the numbers counted.

But then I saw that there are things like DigitalBrighton, DigitalUK and DigitalNightclubs, and even a DigitalNewcastle on Google.
So the meaning of digital must somehow have changed.
