sehr herzlich möchten wir Sie zu unserem diesjährigen Stipendienabend einladen am Mittwoch, 30. Oktober 2013 um 19.00 Uhr im Seminarraum des Edith-Russ-Hauses. Die mit Stipendien für Medienkunst der Stiftung Niedersachsen am Edith-Russ-Haus für Medienkunst 2013 ausgezeichneten KünstlerInnen stellen ihre Projekte vor: Marcello Mercado, Van Gogh Variations: Der in Köln lebende argentinische Künstler schlägt eine Brücke zwischen organischer, physischer und digitaler Welt. Patricia Reis, The Brain is the Screen: Die interaktiven Installationen beabsichtigen, eine direkte Beziehung zwischen dem Betrachter und dem Kunstwerk über haptische Berührungen und neuronale Stimulation herzustellen. Hannes Waldschütz, Ziviler Ungehorsam: Reparieren: Durch eine Serie partizipatorischer Performances, die sich mit der Reparatur von technischen Geräten beschäftigen, möchte der Künstler einen Dialog mit dem Publikum herstellen und auf die konsumorientierte Gesellschaft aufmerksam machen. Die Präsentation findet in deutscher und englischer Sprache statt. Der Eintritt ist frei.
