While the former investigates challenges of the extended violin techniques and playing, the latter investigates the shaping of sensibility for understanding the music. Or rather, by questioning what is this “impossible” it is questions is there space for re-shaping of the understanding the “new” aesthetics, sensibility and expressivity. Seeking out along the way whether and how do we grow into understanding and appreciating this “new”, or rather the unconventional. ||* *Performance+Talk Sessions* are part of Dejana’s research project *“Temporality of the Impossible: contemporary violin music, aesthetics, technique and performance”*. For this occasion, Dejana will be performing on the violin by Thomas Meuwissen <https://www.thomasmeuwissen.com/>. What kind of “new” and peculiar will there be this time you ask?
