Dear all, I'm happy to share news of Alpaca festival and conference 2025, exploring algorithmic patterns in the creative arts. It will explore the use of algorithms in pattern making across heritage and contemporary technology, including algorithmic music (including live coding, carnatic rhythms), textiles (weaving, braiding, knitting, e-textiles), juggling, procedural drawing, algorithmic choreography etc... It will focus on wholesome human-made algorithms rather than AI.
