Dear new media art and activist peeps, apologies for crossposting!
We're trying to create alternative education opportunities for the political moment we're living in and we've made a new program brochure for our upcoming 14-week evening new media art and activism program taking place at School of Machines in Berlin. We would be super grateful if you can help us spread the word to your communities if it's relevant to your location or if you know Berliners you can share it with!* Link is here:* https://bit.ly/afterhours2026 We're running two courses: *Creative Coding & Electronic Mischief* led by contemporary artist and activist Grayson Earle focuses on media making, electronics and creative misuses of technology for art and activism. *Homegrown Tools & Self-Hosted Infrastructures* led by media artist and educator Sarah Grant focuses on developing your own digital tools - from self-hosted servers, networks and AI systems to custom scripts and alternative infrastructure. *Additionally, we're giving out two scholarships, one for each of the courses, deadline to apply is 22. December. * Thanks for helping us spread the word if you're able! Happy Holidays! <3 Warmly, Rachel *Creative Director | School of Machines, Making & Make-Believe <http://schoolofma.org/>*
