Apologies for cross-posting! Dear new media art and activist peeps,
We're in the final stretch of early bird pricing for our July program. Fees go up 10 June, and we still have a few spots open. *Creating Alt-Ctrl Games as Feminist Practice* is a four-week hands-on course at School of Machines, Making & Make-Believe in Berlin. Over the month of July, a small international group will learn to build video games from scratch: nonlinear narrative, visuals, sound, and physical alt-ctrl interfaces. All using open-source tools and a feminist framework for questioning whose stories games tell and why. **No coding background needed. We provide the tools.** And if you want to keep going, the program includes an optional one-month residency afterwards to develop your work further. The community tends to stick around long after the four weeks are up. Come join us! 6-31 July | Berlin | Early bird ends 10 June schoolofma.org/summer-2026/creating-alt-ctrl-as-feminist-art-practice Warmly, Rachel Uwa *Creative Director | School of Machines, Making & Make-Believe <http://schoolofma.org/>* *Summer Programs | Catalogue <https://bit.ly/SOMA_summerprogram2026>*
