Hello,
we habe new cisco switches in our data center, Catalyst 4500 L3 software
version 12.2(46) and see the following
problem. Every 5 minutes we get this event:
234204-->14.10.2008 07:42:34 UTC SWITCH100 Device SWITCH100 of
type GnSNMPDev has completed an interface reconfiguration.
Interface Reconfiguration Trigger: Interface-Table-Change-Reconfiguration
Interface Reconfiguration Status: Success-Reconfiguration-Complete System
GnSNMPDev 0x1001d
We didn't change anything on the interfaces, and all switches do the same. Our
older switches are not sending this
messages, and we get no trap from the devices.
I am not sure what could be the problem. Is the problem, that spectrum does not
correctly know the new devices (GnSNMPDev)
or can I configure somethin on the switch do prevent these messages.
We would like the events for the reconfiguration, because normally in the data
center this is uncommon, and if a interface
reconfiguration is done, we see always about 1000 snmp packets to and from
every swith every 5 minutes.
