Phillip, I'm really interested in hearing if you fix this problem. I looked into this two years ago and failed miserably and would like to try again. CA Support weren't able to understand the question, nor provide an answer!
Could it be due to the cypher strength set in AD? I think that was a problem that we experienced with another java application; it would only work at 2048 bits or below, and I think we were using higher in AD. So keep us all up to date with any progress that you make, and maybe write a useful instruction guide if you do manage to crack it?
