Hi list,

the installation guide (DOC#5136) for Spectrum 9.0 gives a warning for patch
119059 on Solaris 10 (page 12):

Patch 119059 is not required by SPECTRUM. However, if you have installed it,
and you are also installing SRM, verify that the patch version does not
exceed 119059-20. If you have installed a higher version, you must
re-install Solaris 10 with a version that does not exceed 119059-20 in order
for SRM to be able to run reports.

Has anyone installed SRM 9.0 on Solaris 10? What about the patchrev of
119059? Does SRM work with a higher rev?

119059-20 has been released in November 2006 and obsoleted in January 2007
by the next rev. The current rev is 46(!) from Dezember 2008.

Current Solaris 10 version is 10U6 from Oktober 2008 and any installation
higher 10U3 (from November 2006) will give higher rev of 119059
out-of-the-box and not removable!

I really would not want to install such old versions (hey, patches exist to
fix bugs in programs, don't they?).

Any feedback ("yes, works ok with rev XY", "no, does not work with higher
revs at all", etc.) would be appreciated.

Many thanks in advance!

Best regards,
Marcel
