We are currently planning our DSS migration to Spectrum 9.0 & eHealth
6.1 based on VM images. One item passed on to me from CA professional
services staff is that one should plan on a 20% hit off the initial
hardware, so plan accordingly. In addition we plan to use Dell R905's
the platform since HP Blades had some limitations based on our network
architecture. We are looking forward to moving to a virtual environment
over the coming months. I'm sure there are several on the list, that
can provide "actual" experience.

Are there any known issues about Spectrum 9.0 running on Virtual
Machines?

It looks like running on a virtual machine could have some advantages
and I am wondering if I can do that and keep the same performance (I
don't have a too crowded SPECTRUM, around 1-2000 devices) and especially
not running into major glitches.

Thank you,

Regards,
