I'm new around here, my name is Ricardo Fernandes, I live in Brazil. I
do work with IT for more than 15 years, but I'm relatively new to
management systems.
Sorry for the newbie question, but I'm really having a hard time
trying to figure out how to do what it seems to be a simple thing.
I'm using shouthbound gateway to receive traps from a NMS and it works
as it should, every new event it receives it creates a new "event
model" inside the "event admin" and logs all the alerts regards that
event
But what I want to do is to create a new topology, graphically
representing the physical elements the NMS is managing, creating
models and then associating traps/events to it.
Modeling gateway? Create new model types "Southbound" specific?
Any hints will be appreciated.
