Hi Joern, list, you are talking about non-resolved port management? We use poll_port_status to get BAD LINK alarms on interface models with nothing attached. Sure you don't mix that up?
Nevertheless it is of course always a good idea to include the link status anyway to find "dead" links, just keep in mind that links currently down (not on purpose of course) are subtracted, too! It toggles to "no" when I disable the live link connected to an interface. Keep in mind that, for each live link, there are two interface models having it set to "true"; so your total number of live links is half of your result.
