Hi Cristi, list, AFAIR there will be an Alarm Sync on FT in Release 9.2.
Can anyone from CA confirm this? I've seen this on the Roadmap at the DICOS Usermeeting in Cologne. Anyway, what has ArchMgr got to to with this? There's no Events if the primary machine hosting the only ArchMgr is completely down, but since the Alarms are held in the SSdb, there is plenty of possibilities to sync them with the (pseudo-active) Ssdb on the secondary. Since in a failover environment there is only one Archive Manager (the one on the MLS), there isn't an option to transfer the alarms from the primary to the secondary.
