Hi, we had success using SNMPv3 with Cisco by using md5 and des. Combination snmp-server user xxxxxxxxx MGMT v3 auth md5 pwd$abcd1234 priv des pwd$1234abcd access xx

We are trying to implement SNMPv3 on Aruba Controllers (These are
devices used in a wireless environment with an IOS very similar to Cisco IOS)
Currently Spectrum cannot communicate with the devices with SNMP v3
setup however Ehealth can.
Ehealth's format to read the V3 is
12,10.1.203.3,161,Rxxxxxxxa,,,authPriv,SHA,AES,"cxxxxxxxxxn","cxxxxxxxxxxnX"
Spectrum string for routers is as follows:
#v3/P:cxxxxxxxxxn:cxxxxxxxxxX/Rxxxxxxxa
Does anyone else use aruba network controllers (aruba 800) with SNMP V3
or know how to format the string to be read by Spectrum 9.1
