Rob,

as it so happens, we have just done a query with CA regarding some new
features we would like to implement in our system management environment,
one of which was to test a server against the "aliveness" of a URL and
match the HTTP answer against a configurable pattern. CA answered "yes,
this is possible with SysEdge in combination with the Service
availability module".

q.e.d.

Freundliche Grüße / Best regards

[spectrum] SysEDGE SPM http monitor

Hi all,
The SPM feature of Spectrum along with Sysedge agent make us able to
monitor webpage downloads. However, I need to be able todo a regex on the
contents retrived and alarm if it contains certains things. Is this
do'able with Sysedge logic? I know the logic exist in the logfile
monitoring part of the agent, but what about this situation?
/Roberth
