The only thing HPOV does better than Spectrum is application monitoring capabilities through its SPIs (and maybe service tree, but it's debatable).
If I were in your shoes, I would integrate the two solutions so that HPOV feeds the alerts to Spectrum so that you get notified of the issue while enjoying Spectrum's root cause analysis capabilities. Also, as Christian put it, be prepared to construct lots of rules with HPOV, unlike in Spectrum. Typically it's a neverending job which can drive one crazy. Altug GUR -- "Yks elämä.
