Hello Lesley, I don't know why that happened to you but from my experience, before starting any upgrades there are some services needed to he shut down. For both SS and OC, processd needs to be shut down, that will ensure that MySQL servers and some other services are stopped. For SS, stopping processd is enough, but for OC, you will need to manually stop Tomcat too.
If you don't do this, the installation will have errors because it won't be able to replace open files. What you can do is, reinstall H01 after you stopped all these services. I'd like to share my experiences with you in case it is useful for anyone. Initially when I tried to run the install I got an error during the host eval; Error: Running userconf 14001. The application has failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect I reset the processd password and rebooted. On trying to start SCP it would flash up and exit (this was a problem as I knew that the SpectroServer.exe was still running) I used CmdC to stop the SS and re-ran the upgrade installation. (Wish I had set it not to autostart before I started the upgrade!) The install was successful and after doing a post install reboot everything started as expected. Hotfix 01 and the PTF H0104 installed without any problems However, for the One-Click server the Hotfix 01 install has not yet been successful as TomCat will no longer start (it did before when I had upgraded to 9.2) so if anyone out there has any similar experiences and has a fix I'd be glad to hear.
