Hello all,

I am searching for any experiences of using eHealth SNMPv3 functionality
(Distributed SNMP Security Pack) and the Spectrum integration.
We have a distributed Spectrum env with a sum of 20 LS + 1 MLS. The distributed
eHealth env has about 6 pollers + 1 reporting console.
The integration between Spectrum and eHealth works very well.

Now we have the requirement to poll more and more devices by SNMPv3. SNMPv3
with Spectrum is working out of the box. For eHealth the Distributed SNMP
Security Pack from SNMP Research International, Inc. has to be used to enable
SNMPv3.

As I understand from eHealth documentation the eHealth discovery process will
be enabled to communicate with the devices on SNMPv3. The community will be set
to 'public' after discovery is finished. That means that the community in
eHealth differs from the v3 community string in Spectrum.

Does any on of you have any experience of using Distributed SNMP Security Pack
and Spectrum-eHealth integration?

Thanks for any feedback,
Steve

With best regards,
Steve Bothin
