Dear spectrum user,
I have been using policy manager for a while with only ONE policy-rule. Now I
tried to add a second policy-rule and got the alarm "POLICY DATA LOADING
ERRORS" with the following output:
16/03/11 15:39:29 : Reloading policy data...
16/03/11 15:39:29 : Backing up running policy configuration data
16/03/11 15:39:29 : Loading policy data from local XML files...
16/03/11 15:39:29 : Policy definitions have changed
16/03/11 15:39:29 : Policy rule definitions have changed
16/03/11 15:39:29 : Policy search criteria definitions have changed
16/03/11 15:39:29 : Policy settings definitions have changed
16/03/11 15:39:29 : ERROR - Policy "Interface Threshold Policy" specifies a
rule "Access Interface Utilization Rule" that does not exist!
16/03/11 15:39:29 : Errors still exist in policy data!
16/03/11 15:39:29 : Not enforcing new policy data... old policies still in
effect
16/03/11 15:39:29 : Done reloading policy data
I have checked the syntax of all files many times - there are no mistakes. It
looks like that spectrum has a problem loading the second rule in the
policy-rules.xml. Has anyone experienced the same bevaviour?
This is my policies.xml:

<policy name="Interface Threshold Policy" >
<policy-rule-name name="Core Interface Utilization Rule" />
<policy-rule-name name="Access Interface Utilization Rule" />
</policy>
</policy-definitions>
policy-rules.xml:

<port-policy-search-criteria-name name="All Core Ports" />
<policy-settings-name name="Core Int Utilization Threshold Settings" />
</policy-rule>

<policy-settings-name name="Access Int Utilization Threshold Settings" />
</policy-rule>
</policy-rules-definitions>
I also tried to switch both rules - without the output:
16/03/11 15:39:29 : ERROR - Policy "Interface Threshold Policy" specifies a
rule "Core Interface Utilization Rule" that does not exist!
It´s always the second rule which could not be found!
Any ideas?
