Hello Cedric,
As Patrick told you, there is no way to have custom classes at this point - and I presume no chance in the future either. You don't need to create a new class to have separate icons - you need to create a new model then create/edit some of the OneClick files and associate the new icon with them. To describe how to do it in an email is quite long but fortunately there is a solution to your problem. Some time ago I made a post in the SpectrumWiki forum http://www.dachsug.ch/forums/index.php (I cannot link directly to my post because I always forget my login credentials there). What you have to do is to register and get access to the forum. In the OneClick section there is a post about doing what you need. Feel free to send me an email if you need more help. Hi Cedric, I already had this conversation with support. Having custom classes would be great for identifying and sorting devices. The downside according to support is, the only way to create a custom class is to create a new model. That's a lot of work, time I can't commit. If anyone knows of a short cut or another way. I would also be interested. Dear list, Do you know if it is possible to create a completely new class in Spectrum 9.2 ? The goal here is to create custom icons without being obliged to modify existing classes. Any info will be welcome. Thanks in advance.
