Hello Stephen,

What you need is possible. I have built a html page with links to all the
graphs and many people are using it. It is enough for them to click on the link
and see the "zoomed" version of the graph.

The link format is:

For a custom report:

http://oneclick:8080/cgi-bin/zoom.cgi?MNAME=Traffic_BTST_avg&MTYPE=AdHoc&RRDDIR=&HEALTHDIR=D:/win32app/Spectrum/SRG/ReportGateway/Custom_Reports&WATERMARK=Yes&REFRESH=3600&RRDPATH=Traffic_BTST&RRDNAME=

For a "normal" (not custom) report:

http://oneclick:8080/cgi-bin/zoom.cgi?MNAME=PARKUPS01&MTYPE=UpsApc92xx&RRDDIR=D:/win32app/Spectrum/SRG/ReportGateway/SRG&HEALTHDIR=D:/win32app/Spectrum/SRG/ReportGateway&WATERMARK=Yes&REFRESH=3600&RRDPATH=PARK%20UPS01%20Temperature%20and%20Humidity%20Readings&RRDNAME=UpsApc92xx_PARKUPS01

Just replace the relevant pieces of info in the links and you should be right
on the way.

It will be some trial and error but you'll get it working. If you need any
more help, feel free to send me an email anytime.

Regards,

Subject: [spectrum] Automatating SRG reports

Hi All

Each month I have to compile long reports full of SRG graphs showing link
utilisation for the last month.

As you will appreciate if you use SRG this is very time consuming as you have
to select the interface then drill in to expand view to see the monthly report,
then copy and paste it. This gets very boring very quickly.

I have looked at a url for a monthly graph

http://xxxxxx:8888/rrdgraphs/Gen_IF SW1_Gi2-2
SW1_Gi2-2_Max_-_Avg_Traffic__end%20-%201m1304364839.png
<http://xxxxxx:8888/rrdgraphs/Gen_IF_Port_Core-SW1_Gi2-2_Core-SW1_Gi2-2_Max_-_Avg_Traffic__end%20-%201m1304364839.png>

This just references a png image. I think that when you click 'expand view' a
script is run that creates the graph images.

To cut to the chase, does anyone know how this works and whether it would be
possible to imbed a link to the relevant script in a word document for each
graph to be produced?

TIA

Stephen.
