Hello,

every search you create in OneClick is defined in a file called search*.xml in
the folder "$specroot/custom/console/config/"
This searches are linked with the file
$specroot/custom/console/config/custom-app-config.xml:

e.g.:

<search-config>
    <search-criteria-id>search-asset_by_model_name</search-criteria-id>
    <search-title>by Model Name</search-title>
    <description>Search by Model name</description>
    <table-config-id>table-asset-config.xml</table-config-id>
    <group>Asset Information</group>
</search-config>

The pattern <table-config-id> ... </table-config-id> let you define the table
the locator search should use for the results.
Just create a new table file and enter the filename into the tags. I think you
have to put the new table - file in the folder $specroot/custom/topo/config.

Betreff: [spectrum] custom search result table

Hello,

When using the predefined search for "ports by description" the results table
shows all attributes which are related to port models. E.g. Status, IF
description, etc. If you copy that search(ofc search criteria is lost) to
define a custom search with own criteria, the results are shown on a
device-related search result table. Meaning attributes like the Status(Port
status) are not displayed and not selectable.

Anyone knows how to define the result table for custom searches? Xml workaround?

Thanks,
Robert

With best regards,
Robert Hermann
