Group:

Is it possible there is something in my .alarmrc file causing this
behavior where all changes made to an alarm after assignment trigger
additional emails? I have not modified this file in months but it was
brought up by another group user. IN the past we would only get emails
when a ticket was assigned or unassigned to a troubleshooter.

I have Spectrum setup so when an alarm is assigned to a group
(troubleshooter) and email goes out. All a sudden last week everytime an
action is taken on an alarm that's assigned to a troubleshooter an email
goes out (assigning, updating, clearing, etc. Whats strange is I didn't
change any settings, this just happened on its own. I've rebooted, gone
over to the secondary, deleted the events for event updates, nothing is
working. Does anyone know what Im missing here?

The following is an email example:

Subject: Alarm Trouble Ticket ID Changed

The trouble ticket ID for the following alarm that is assigned to you
has been changed to '12'

Minor alarm of type "DEVICE HAS STOPPED RESPONDING TO POLLS-INIT-NOC2"
on model 10.254.252.184 of type IP Device
