Hi Berthold,

I don't have a "ready to go"-solution for you but I thought it could drop some
ideas.

- I would use a different approach. You could create a filter that greps all
switch device models
which have an association of type "vLanSpans" to models of type "vLan" with
attribute "vlanID" equals "111".

- Take a look at the "search-criteria-config.xsd". You want to look for
"parent-models" "child-models".
These criteria can be used to find models based on a relation and this is
basically what you try to do.

- To get started you could use an existing search like EVPN's "All CE
Interfaces by Provider".
Make a copy and modify the xml-file to the VLAN specific models and relations
(use an editor instead of the UI cause
it can't handle complex searches). In the next step create the GC based on this
new search.

Sorry that I don't have a more concrete answer but I hope this at least gets
you going.

Regards,
Jan

Betreff: [spectrum] Global Collection for a specific VLAN

Hi all,

I need to find all switches in a global collection, where a specific vlan
exists. But when I create
a global collection which has a filter ifDescr contains vlan 111, I get only a
list which has only
the ports in it. I would like to have a list, which contains the switches, and
the alarms and events
also. The collection should work for cisco, enterasys and hp switches.
My goal is to show a customer the events of the switches, where a VOIP vlan is
configured, to prevent
the customer so check the VOIP when a switch has a problem.

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards
Berthold
