Hi,
Is it possible to monitor Oracle process using sysedge 4.3.5 (No AIMs)?
We are trying to monitor the entire process group of oracle. It is possible
that some of the child processes may die, but as long as that group of oracle
processes continue to run, we're fine. We thought it to be Parent/child
relation and used 0x100 flag in the monitoring entry. We received couple of
false alarms for the Oracle process stop. On further investigation it seems
that oracle process is actually daemons forking daemons (and hence 0x100 is not
effective). I m not able to find any monitor table flag that I can use for such
case. Can you please let me know how can we monitor this process using SysEDGE?
