View the device in the Component Detail window in OneClick.

In the Information tab, expand the System Resources view,

then the File Systems view, then the File Systems (RFC2790) view.

This will retrieve file system/drive details from the server into the table.

Pick the one drive you wish to monitor, and click Monitor File System in the
table.

Fill in the window to set your thresholds... read Chapter 3 of the Host System
Resources Management User Guide (5179) PDF for help.

Subject: [spectrum] Monitoring a specific disk in Service manager

Dear all,

I set up a service that reports on a range of servers, routers, etc.

The service depends very much on a particular drive on a SQL server, whereas
the other drives on that server do not impact.

Can you help me setting up monitoring for just this drive rather than the
entire server? I sort of 'love' reading the manuals, so I'd be grateful if you
could just show me the direction.

Thank you,

Jürgen
