The confirmed memory leak fix found in 9.2.1 is described as follows;

Symptom: Under rare circumstances, Spectrum's fault isolation logic could leak
memory, which unnecessarily increased the memory footprint of the SpectroSERVER.

Resolution: Resolved a potential memory leak in Spectrum's fault isolation
logic.

(swbug025353, 20406002-1)

This solution will be included in the next hotfix patch H06. Target release
timeframe for H06 is next month.

This as well as other memory leaks found in hotfix H04 are resolved with PTF
patch 09.02.00.PTF_H0427. If you are at 9.2.0 with H04 and would like to
receive this PTF patch please let me know.

If you are at 9.2.1 and are seeing a memory leak scenario, please open a
support issue so that we can debug it or you can wait until hotfix H06 is
available.

Yes, there is a memory leak confirmed in SP1. We found a few in H04 of which
they fixed but they told me at least one they found while looking at our system
did not get into SP1. They should have a patch for it since it has been about 3
weeks since they gave the patches to fix H04.

Thanks,

I am running 9.2.1 and I am seeing a steady rise in SpectroSERVER memory usage
over a period of weeks. I currently have about 65,000 models and integrations
with SOI, Introscope and eHealth and a large Virtual Host Mgr environment.
(~1,2000 Virtual Model (ESX, Datacenters, Resources Pools, Clusters and VM's)

My system is a 32 Bit Red Hat box with 4 Gig of ram and if I let it,
SpectroSERVER will grow to 2.6 Gig and run out of resources and dump core. I
restart it around 2.3 Gig of resident mem size.

I am moving to a Distributed environment with 3 systems planned, MLS, SS
running just VHM, and then the main guy. All will be 64 Bit RHEL with

12 Gig of RAM.
