Yes correct we could do this. . It would be table-model-config.xml under your SPECROOT/tomcat/webapps/spectrum/WEB-INF/common/config. Just copy one of the <column> and paste it after it. Change the id ref something like column-iflastchange-config. Make sure to end it with </column> and not to write after <column-list>. Then create new XML file with your attribute id under as Jason wrote below under /custom/common/config folder with same name as you typed. Recycle your console and you should have the new column in Search.
Thanks,
Ali

Hi
I think actually you can do this - had it on an 8.1 installation and have
ported the customisations across to 9.2 and they are showing up fine -
you need to use a topo file in custom - copy across a column-xxxxxx.config.xml
to $specroot/customer/topo
You also need to reference it from the relevant view file - now here its a
little bit trickier - from memory (not at console) you would need to edit
either table-ports-config,xml or tablesmodel-config.xml or
interfaces-table-config.xml - apologies in the uncertainty - I am doing this
from rough notes.
As always don't edit the file in situ - copy it to the relevant location in
$specroot/custom/

I am pretty sure that you can't add extra columns to this area, if those
columns weren't added by CA.
If you right-click on a column header it will show you a list with all
available columns to display - if what you need is not on that list then you're
out of luck.
It will be better if you open a ticket with CA Support - they will tell you for
sure if it is possible.
If it is, please let the list know the answer.

Subject: [spectrum] Add columns to Locator tab search results
Hi,
We're running Spectrum Version 9.2.1.5.104 and would like to add a column
corresponding to the attribute ifLastChange (0x12980) so that it will show up
when we run a search to find out when the last time a switch port has been
used. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've been going through the
CA Spectrum Infrastructure Manager OneClick Customization Guide and can't find
anything on how to add a column.
Thanks,
Ed
