Hi all,
We are running Spectrum on RHEL 5 and when I launch SCP wits starts for less
than a sec and then exists. The output of the log file reads there is Spectrum
installation, exiting.
$ cat SCP.OUT
Mon Feb 13 15:43:28 EST 2012: SPECTRUM Control Panel started.
Mon Feb 13 15:43:37 EST 2012: SPECTRUM installation detected, exiting.
I also verified that there is no .VNMDB_LOCK file and SS is not running.
Actually I have to work on MTE, and if I launch mte directly, it throws error
message as follows, however there is no process which is running,
SS-Tools]$ ./mte
Database already locked by: spectrum,
by process: jMTE,
by process ID: 4055,
on network node: cabrsssdev04,
which started at: 02/13/2012_15:06:37.
Cannot open database.
$ ps -ef | grep 4055
spectrum 10425 9040 0 16:16 pts/0 00:00:00 grep 4055
Has anyone seen this behavior in past?
