John,

I've tried the same a few days ago - it just wouldn't work. I guess there
is an intelligence missing that actually triggers the Test Modification on
the Test Host as a result of a value change. It's the same with Global
Collections Search Options, though you might change them in XML format in
the corresponding GC's attribute, you need the OK click in the GUI to
activate the changes.

Maybe there is an undocumented action handle for this?

Anyone?

Freundliche Grüße / Best regards

Betreff: [spectrum] Disable SPM tests using Attribute editor (using
Schedule_State attribute)

Our customer wants to disable the scheduling for a group of SPM tests
(RTM_Test models) using Attribute Browser so that they can all be done
together. However setting the Schedule_State attribute using Attribute
Editor does not de-schedule the test.
When the attribute Schedule_State is set to Disabled using the Attribute
Editor the test schedule shows as disabled in OneClick and the Run Test
and Stop Test options are un-greyed out in the right-click menu from the
test model.
This is as I would expect however attempting to "Run Test" gives the error
saying "Test is currently scheduled and therefore cannot run".
Additionally the test continues to run and the Last Run Time continues to
update with results. So it appears the test has not been de-scheduled.

I have also tried disabling using CLI and this doesn't work either.

Has anyone else tried this? Have you had a workaround or fix? Am I missing
something?
