Well, there's really no default in Win environment as it depends on the TFTP 
server in use as there isn't one built into Windows as standard  - in our case 
we've configured  D:\TFTP-Root and are using that v. simple Solarwinds freebie 
downloadable TFTP server, known to many I'm sure.
We've configured address of it within our Spectrum 9.2H06 under Configuration 
Manager->Information->TFTP Configuration->Default TFTP Host [table].

So I did double-check that that directory was writeable by the Windows user 
under which Spectrum runs (Spectrum Installation Owner).

And of course it was ok, and this is why my query... the  oddity is that the 
error happens on an Upload whereas capture (i.e. Download) is ok...  so 
permissions on the TFTP directory are presumably not the issue... some other 
directory is the un-writeable culprit or it's a mis-reported error text for an 
entirely different error.

The Default TFTP directory is set under the Network Configuration Manager 
section under the SpectroSERVER's VNM model.

On Unix/Linux it defaults to /tftpboot; I don't know what it defaults to on 
Windows.

HI all,
I get 'Upload Error'   - "The Spectroserver was unable to create a temporary 
file, Either the disk is full or permission is denied"
It'll be the permissions.
As the user running Spectrum I've tested creating a file in the TFTP-Root 
directory and various D:\temp, tmp etc - where is it trying to create it?  Must 
be somewhere outside the Spectrum installation.  No permission problem with any 
location  that I've tried. Anyone know?  The user running Spectrum isn't an 
Administrator which is the problem...

Spectrum 92H6, Win2008.
