Reba,

Catalin is spot on. Typically external attribute IDs are particular to a
model type/class. This means that the environmental attributes you wish to
set need to be applied per model type and class in Spectrum. You need to
check the attribute ID for each model class in attribute editor (some may
not even support the MIB OID values you need).

For example, you need to check the attribute ID of "Temperature" for your
7604 devices and note the attribute ID for it so you can use it in your
watch definitions. Rinse and repeat for all model types/classes.

It would be wise to check the value and unit as well. If you need Celsius
temperatures but your device reports the value in Fahrenheit units, you may
need to do some calculation in defining the watches Catalin mentioned. I
recommend using one particular device model until you perfect your
technique and be sure that you get the intended result.

You may also apply watches per model types/classes so effectively you're
telling Spectrum to "apply watch A to all 7604 devices, apply watch B to
7606s, etc.", but this falls into "Spectrum Customization" and may not be
very easy to implement. However, this eases up the burden of defining
watches for each individual device model and lets you "magically" have the
watch defined and activated for the devices you add in your infrastructure
that are of the same model type/class. It's up to you to decide whether
it's worth the effort and time invested in this.

Hope this helps!
