Hi,

I've got Spectrum 9.2 H06 installed at my customer on 3 Windows 2008
servers (1 SS, 1 OC, 1 BOXI). I need to monitor Internet availability for
customer clients through proxy server.

I was reading SPM documentation and there is possibility to create HTTP
test and define proxy server and monitor its results. There is mentioned
this can be done on hosts using SystemEdge agents. I have lots of Windows
2003 and 2008 servers that are monitored in Spectrum using SystemEdge
agents.

When I perform Locator search to find SPM test hosts, I don't see
SystemEdge hosts. I've tried to define SystemEdge community string as
read-write, rediscovered host in Spectrum, ran the search again but
Spectrum doesn't recognize SystemEdge host as SPM test host.

My goal is this:
1. Define a probe that connects to Internet through proxy server.
2. Discover the probe.
3. Monitor probe results.
4. If result goes above defined threshold, generate alarm.

Can you please help me find a solution for this?

Thanks!

Srdačan pozdrav / Kind regards,
