Hi Jon, U need to check whether there is any script which is running for any job related to spectrum database. I used to run scheduled backup of spectrum reporting database through script which caused same problem which u r currently facing.
Stop those scripts. And then try to repair DB online / offline using mysqlchk or myismchk. Hope this might help.
