Hi, we had router connected to a switch, both are monitored in Spectrum. Actually both the devices are down at same time due to power failure. But we didn't get any alerts in spectrum for both the devices, when i checked the events of the router it says alarm is suppressed due to upstream device is down and when i checked in switch it says alarm is suppressed due to upstream device is down.
But actual connection is spectrum --> router --> switch. Actually, i should get alert on router and the switch alert should be suppressed. Did any one came across this situation. how do we over come this.
