That is wrong. You an install the actual SystemEDGE (5.7) and the VCAIM on any Windows system, you want. The VCAIM will connect remotly to the VCenter server (https) and communicate over that connection. CA doesn't recommend to install the SystemEDGE directly on the VCenter server! Within the installation process you have to enter your vCenter server and credential information. Look at the Installation Guide (Chapter 3: Installing CA Virtual Assurance, Page 24: Typical and Custom Installation), where you can find helpful hints. Is need to install an agent on the virtual machines?. I discovered the vCenter in the "virtual machine manager', but I can't see the virtual machines. The user that is configured on the AIM should be an administrator? regards --- To unsubscribe from spectrum, send email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe spectrum [email protected] --- To unsubscribe from spectrum, send email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe spectrum [email protected] --- To unsubscribe from spectrum, send email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe spectrum [email protected]
